Dr. Lewis is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian with a strong foundation in general practice and a deep passion for exotic animal medicine, particularly avian species. Her journey began as a veterinary technician, a role she held for six years before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Throughout her education, Dr. Lewis completed several externships across various areas of veterinary medicine, continually expanding her knowledge and clinical skills. She holds a special interest in nephrology within small animal medicine, drawn to the complexity and underappreciated nature of kidney health. Outside the clinic, Dr. Lewis embraces creativity through cosplay, enjoys hiking and birdwatching, and is on a mission to visit as many national parks as possible. She shares her life with her husband, their son Ezra, and two spirited pugs—Daryl and Leela—each with a story as unique as the family she treasures.
